    I purchased this because my alarm clock died after only six months. I love that it is battery, and not subject to power outages. The flip numbers take me back to my youth, and the sound of the numbers remind me of sleeping in my old room at home. I love the quality and nastalgia of it.

    One thing I would love to see is a back light. I knew that would be a problem before ordering, but could not tell if it was lighted or not. It is not. The clock is hard to see at night. Other than that, it is perfect.
